Monday we left Kosice for Spis Castle, (Dragonheart with Dennis Quaid was filmed here). Jan didn't have a highway sticker on his car so we traveled the secondary roads to get there and this provided us a scenic drive through the countryside. Unfortunately when we arrived there it was closed to the public due to repairs being made.

After viewing Spis Castle from the outside, we drove down the road to a wonderful country restaurant, Spissky Salas. After lunch Jan and Marcel filled their water jugs at the mineral spring that we visited during our 2005 trip.
